Doctors Koh and
Janik are well known and respected for sharing their knowledge with physicians throughout
the world. They have published both jointly and individually with articles and chapters
appearing in numerous medical books and journals especially on laparoscopic microsurgery
and tubal anastomosis, for which their pioneer status is recognized. Dr. Koh authored the
first Japanese textbook of operative laparoscopy together with Japanese professors in
1993. The physicians continue to lecture and present at national and international
conferences on a regular basis including the annual meetings of the American Society for
Reproductive Medicine, the American Association for Gynecological Laparoscopy, the
International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy, and International Federation of
Gynecologic Endoscopy. In addition, Dr. Koh is a frequent lecturer for the European
Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy as well as the Italian, Russian, and other European
Endoscopic federations.
Doctors Koh and Janik have
recently been given special recognition for their accomplishments, receiving the 1994
Second Prize Video Award from the International Congress of Gynecological Endoscopy and
the 1993 First Prize Movie Award given by the American Fertility Society.
