Vasovasostomy Vasoepididymostomy Practice Philosophy "I try to emphasize a patient goal-directed approach, keeping treatments simple as possible, while striving for the greatest possible patient satisfaction and benefit. For instance, in couples with male factor infertility it is my job to work with the husband to maximize his fertility potential. This might include anything from quitting smoking, to trying a new medication, to surgical treatment for varicocele or ductal obstruction. We keep going until we agree that we've gone far enough. The same is true for my patients with sexual dysfunction -- we keep working on the problem, progressing from simple therapies such as oral medications to more complex treatments, until the patient says, 'No, that treatment is not for me'." |
