The
Reproductive Specialty Center specializes in endocrine and infertility treatment, reproductive surgery and advanced laparoscopic laser surgery.
The center is dedicated to the highest level of expert care for women in all phases of
their reproductive and post-reproductive lives.
Fertility
treatments include all aspects of assisted reproduction and in vitro fertilization (IVF,
GIFT, ZIFT, ICSI), donor oocytes, surrogacy, and male factors.
The
doctors at RSC were the first in the world to perform microsurgical tubal anastomosis by laparoscopy in 1992. As pioneers of laparoscopic
microsurgery, all infertility surgery is now performed via laparoscopy or microlaparoscopy. These include tubal anastomosis (sterilization reversal), neosalpingostomy (surgical correction of damaged fallopian tubes), adhesiolysis (removal of adhesions), ovarian cystectomy, and myomectomy (removal of fibroids) among other fertility-promoting procedures.
The center specializes in advanced laparoscopic laser surgery for radical excision of advanced endometriosis (including involvement of bowel, ureter, bladder, cul de sac), hysterectomy, freeing adhesions created from previous conventional surgeries, and pelvic reconstruction for prolapse, cystocele and stress incontinence.
As leaders of advanced laparoscopic surgery, they lecture worldwide and create innovative techniques for furthering the art of laparoscopy (minimally invasive, minimal access, keyhole surgery). Dr. Charles Koh invented a unique technique (the KOH total laparoscopic hysterectomy) and developed instruments enabling virtually all hysterectomies to be performed via laparoscopy.
While Milwaukee is the primary treatment center for patients nationwide and internationally, Prof. Dr. Koh also performs surgeries in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Reproductive
Specialty Center strives to provide assisted reproduction and reproductive surgery at
equally advanced levels so that patients can be treated according to their personal needs.
This excellence is reflected by RSC being in the top 10 clinics for IVF (third place) as
reported in the U.S. World and News Report, 1995. Their world pioneer status for
laparoscopic microsurgical tubal anastomosis was recognized with a first place award for
their video at the conjoint American and Canadian Fertility Society meetings in Montreal
in 1993, and again for second prize video at the International Congress of Gynecological
Endoscopy (AAGL 23rd Annual Meeting, October 22, 1994) in New York. For more awards, click
